Looking forward to hols

Year 2 is really super busy.
Really a big jump from year 1!
And I guess more responsibilities too.

I havent been here for so long that I totally forgot that I have a blog. haha
Only just remembered awhile back.

Feel so lonely all of a sudden these few days.
But I guess feelings come and go..
It'll be okay:)

Ah what can I say?
I've weathered the bad, I've enjoyed the good..
I'm learnt alot, toughened up, and grew older.
And here I am now, wondering what I a going to do. haha

Almost checked off the busiest parts of my holiday.
Things like: work and Treasure 8. Which though doesnt sound alot, IS alot. haha
So whats left now is just: FOC, Cambodia and the start of another school year!

But its kind of empty somehow. haha
Rmb spending my hols in church..I'd rather be doing that though.
It would have been more fufilling:)
(And oh! all the fun while learning in church camps!haha.)
But i've nothing there now..drifted away after being pulled out.
Haha but i guess it happens..if you're not involved in meetings you'll eventually drift away.
Cos thats where bonds are the strongest.

Well,I guess I'll try serving God in my own little way:)
It might not be much, but at least thers something.
And in the midst of it all, may God pave the way for me and guide me:)

I never imagined something like this would happen.
Never knew what it was like to be betrayed by someone so close and dear before.
But I've learnt...I've learnt that love really is able to conquer all.
If not all then maybe most.
Love is able to widen a heart and encompass more.
Love, together with sincere apologies is able to straigten and tidy up things.

Thank you Lord for showing us what is love.

Crap! did really really v badly for this paper!
wont be surprised if I'll hyave to dabao.
Checked answers with the super zai people and realised really got alot of wrongs!
Lol. Its funny how the paper looked so tough in the examination hall and how it suddenly becomes so clear outside of the hall.
And the zai ppl are will very zai.
Like they can beat themselves up over losing a few marks that will end up costing them full marks.
And here I am struggling to find marks to pass!

Planned a birthday surprise at ADM with the girls and some of the guys.
Hahaha i think it was quite fun!!
Like finaly got to picnic at ADM!
lots of food-pizza, sides and the pasta lyn cooked=DD

Really treasure this group of girls that I've met=)
They're ppl I really enjoy talking to!
Haha can complain just about anything to them and know that they're ppl who wont judge nor betray you=))
Its easy to talk to them about anything and everything. hahas
Thank God for them!

One of the things I've learnt from church was to support each other through the situation.
Theres no point crying over split milk, what's important is to support each other, learn from it and move on.
I guess I've taken this attitude for granted and what I experienced today really made me appreciate this kind of team spirit=)
It also made me realise that this spirit is something that is unique and special and God-given.
Another thing to thank God for=))

Hahaha and thank God too for des!
for being so many things to me.hahas (okay this part sounds abit like something out of hong xing da jiang)

Total Highlight of the week!
Went for Ben & Jerry's Free cone day at the cathay! Plus movie=))

Our first cone!

And the 2nd one!! Strawberry Cheesecake! uber yummy!

It didnt take as long as I expected to get the cone.
Even though the queue was super long.
About 20mins only! They tried to make us do the Kallang wave while in queue.
But it failed. haha

Watched limitless. Not bad la. could be better though. hahaha
laoren very entertaining today!=DD

Okay, first and foremost,
I REALLY wanna go for the OCIP trip to Cambodia!
Grace said it'll be a good experience and ya, i really want to go.
so prayerfully everything works out.
like my parents agreeing, and FOC not clashing with the trip and etc, etc.
Of course I'm also doubtful about the trip.
It'll be having to really step out of my comfort zone.
But if I dont do this now, when will I ever do it??
Okay, so i should go.

Well anyway, school started already.
trying to be really consistent this sem to try and pull up my grades.
But it doesnt seem to be working!!
have to really study,
but when I want to study, other things will crop up.
Oh! And we got our mortals for angel mortal.
dont really know who's that guy but wl says he's "very fun one" (in her words)
Hopefully my angel is good too!heeeee.

And me and pris finally went for our classic mani/pedi.
really enjoyed it.
It was the first time doing classic mani/pedi.
the place is somewhere called PrettifyMe and its really cosy and comfortable.
the feeling of not paying cash quite shiok. hahas
cos we were using the voucher thingy that saved us quite alot of money.

And we plcked eyebrows too.
Another first.

something special I did this Christmas Eve was to carol with the hall8 people at quality hotel.
Forst time caroling!
It was a good experience, singing songs about the birth of Jesus.

Had a really great Hari Raya Haji holiday.
This week's been like holiday for me.

This week wasnt exactly the most fantastic week..
But I guess that only means that it can only get better. Well hopefully.

Been pushed around and trying to just grit my teeth and let it go,
because sometimes other ppl might just be having a bad day,
but it failed after a few days when it just got too much.
And I took it out on poor des, cos he just happened to be there.
And on a day when he could finally get a few hours away from camp, to enjoy civilisation again..
But thankfully, everything's over and behind now=)

Anyway, today was my last day working at redmango!
Having mixed feelings about the whole thing.
Like quite sad cos its been really fun making yogurt and being part of the redmango team.

But then I'm glad cos I'll have more time to rest, like finally.

Okayy.last sunday, had an amazing time with the whole family.
It was really funny.
We even had an itinerary to celebrate my ah gong's birthday.

But there was nothing much to see, but tall buildings ._.

We made a trip down to the Spore flyer!

Date-night!
Been so long since we really had a chance to go out and relax.
Thus today is a special special day.
Things have changed so much since the days we met almost everyday.lol
Hardly have time to meet anymore, what with work and stuff.
Only able to snatch a couple of minutes and then time to go home.

Sooo caught Alice in Wonderland today!
Its a weirddd show.
But weird in a good way.
It brought back memories of reading the book when I was little.
Always thought it was a weird book with wicked twists.
Felt the same way while I was watching it!
Its so different from other movies in general.
So not bad la=)

Had alot of things weighing on my mind recently.
But today really kind of took some weight off.
Talking and slacking really took some weight off.

It was really shocking.
Was really planning for really bad results.
I could never have done this on my own!
And for this I'm really thankful for God's grace.

I'm afraid to choose a course.
Cos it'll decide a major major part of my life next time.
Would it be the poly course?
Or go to uni which was what the whole plan was...at first.

Relationships are tough.
But whats the point if they're a smooth piece of glass.
There'd be no lessons learnt and no improvements.
Whats important is getting through them=)

The social strategies ppl play are kinda interesting.

Seriously I really hate it when the "You'll end up like me" talk comes around.
Its kind of brainwashing my brain and making me believe things that I know I shouldnt.
Because in cases like this, only God knows my future.

Being young has benefits.
One of them is being able to dream and hope in your future.
But I guess what matters most is not falling into the trap that this world has created.

Gahs! Thank God it wasn't so sick till like cannot focus and study.

Its been 365days.
You know I think that was something I'll feel guilty about for life.
It'll just stick around till the end.

But then I never regretted making that decision.
If only it didnt have to happen this way.

Oh man.
Missed the front part of survivor.
But managed to catch enough to get the gist of what happened.
Its so sad.
Life is really really so fragile.
But it looked like he actually died.
He did so much for his tribe and participated in reward though he wasnt feeling too good.

Been kite flying for the past few weeks=)

The sky was filled with kites of all colours and it was the nicest I've seen yet.
And we saw the actor!
And he actually joked with us=D

I screwed up my block tests because of it.
But at least its better than screwing up A levels.
At least now I'll know how to like not let it screw up my life.

Friends are ppl who talks to you, listens to you and will at least consider your opinions.
In a way I don't know if they're friends anymore.
They ask for opinions but dont really listen to them.
But maybe its just cos its just not good enough for them la.

Its just going to happen again and again.
This isn't the first time and won't be the last.
Its a cycle repeating itself, again and again.
