Collectivisation -small plots of land put together to form large farms -peasants worked together on these farms stalin set up first collective farm called kolkhov in 1929 -farms run by committee overseen by local communist party -the workers kept and shared 10% of crops -state bought the rest at a fixed price -kulaks resented having their land taken away from them -they lost position as most important farmers -peasants also unhappy although their lives improved -as state had control of land -worked slowly and badly to make as little surplus as possible -cos extra food went to the state -some even slaughtered their livestock and burned down buildings -dont want the state to have them

okay this is bad three days to the start of o's and I'm still blogging....
anyway anna and ting came over to study yesterday amazingly,it was effective. like really really effective it was the first time in many many days that i actually sat down to study for 4-5hours straight.. i scared man.but cant stop slacking.
went to cut my hair today my fringe is super duper short shorter than its ever been i think i like it=) but i hope it grows back in time for grad night pls pls let it grow back=) i like the hairdresser man shes from church and she really puts in alot of effort in cutting your hair
but pls pls grow,hair,grow xp okay okay.back to my books!

been rather sentimental today i have no idea why...
km went back to malaysia today and it'll be like another 8months before he comes back.
and when I went down to get dinner, saw the ban mian stall holder packing up the last of their stuff and leaving like all their stuff I think there weren't be anymore ban mian.. it like added to my sadness man but I feel better now though=)

A new teacher came in to take over kids choir with us needless to say things changed I expected things to change but i didnt know exactly how much.. until today Many new kids joined the choir and the kids were all sitting in chairs I was rather speechless and well,I dont think we're really needed there anymore we spent the time in kids choir sitting and watching. kind of like we were outsiders.
I love the kids man Usually leave kids choir feeling really happy and wanting to come back but today, I dont think I can do this anymore I love the kids and all but well feel like quitting its rather irresponsible and all but I dont think I can meet the parents expectations. I guess they expect choir to be the way its being run now..today and its really different from how we used to run it. It was chaotic and all..but at least the kids listened to us and knew when to stop. We just gained their respect not long ago no matter how little it was and now it wont matter.
It was hard getting them to listen to us at first but things got better ALOT better.. Well, I guess its just watch and see how things go.. hope things get better=)

went to Sentosa with Ken Ming and Zuyao today Ken ming came back on thurs. and this is like the first time ever since he moved to malaysia that I actually spent time with him=) hahas Yups today was really fun and relaxed guess this was what I really needed after this its all study study and more studying=)

went to study at the national library today!! didnt get much studying done super guilty after that we went on this good food spree for dinner went to the shophouses opposite bugis and had a very nice dinner hahas then we went to the dessert store and bought dessert super nice man i bought tang yuan,jmi bought some mango and grapefruit thingy and ning bought the ginger and fresh milk thing very nice!! so extremely happy=)
i screwed up my physics practical man dont know what im doing la didnt read properly,didnt do the experiment properly had better study hard man

Bittersweet moment
Have to leave xinmin secondary soon its so depressing whenever i think about it went to 2 jcs open yesterday the first one was rather boring..there's like a lack of school spirit after that we went Meridian the school spirit is super!! it made me so happy=) Its one of the jcs I'm aiming to enter lets see how things go after nanyang's open house
oh man I'll miss 403 like really really really miss 403 its been a really fun and enjoyable 2years all the lame stuff,jokes,laughter,crap and many many other stuff and the 403 class spirit!! Its like a wonderful combination of different characters.hahas 403 ROCKS! *so sad Its sad Its a sad sad situation...*
Its really goodbye once we leave the school like well,they'll be class gatherings and all that stuff but like how many times can we meet?
Like now I still see him everyday even though our study break just started I know I'll still see him again but after we leave it'll really be goodbye.. like I might never see him again the thought of it is quite scary actually makes me feel rather lost
